Thanks for the info... I'm 5 months post injury and am headed into surgery next Tuesday for hardware removal.... 2 plates, 8 screws and an additional screw through the Lisfranc joint over towards my pinky toe under the other 2plates.... I've dislodged hardware and have a screw emerging..... In lots of pain and have walked with mild to moderate discomfort with a limp since I became WB after16 weeks of crutches and NWB....
Really hoping this second surgery will help although I can't believe the recovery time is WB in a cam walker for two weeks..... Is the pain really less severe?
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. You have a bit more hardware in you than I did - so it may be a little more complicated and your healing post op a little longer. I can tell you this - You will feel much much better without the hardware in you once your surgical scars start to heal. Good luck and let me know how you progess. Glenn
Take care of it!
ReplyDeleteHi! I hope you are doing well. The antibiotics seem to be working. G
